01 / THE FACTORY
What we do
FKS KPI is one of four specialized factories within Holding „Kablovi“ a.d. — Jagodina, created by expanding the Holding’s capacity and production programme. It began operating in 1968 in engineering work, and from 1988 as “Cable Accessories and Engineering”.
FKS KPI is a relatively small production unit, well positioned with a product range able to satisfy a reasonable scope of market requirements. Its activities — manufacture and services — are carried out to international, regional and national standards as well as specific customer requirements.

How the factory grew
The factory began in 1968 in engineering work and has operated since 1988 as “Cable Accessories and Engineering”. This completed the Holding’s offer: every cable is matched with its joint, termination and connecting accessory, supported by on-site engineering services.

PVC and XLPE insulated cables 0.6/1 kV, 1–5 cores, up to 630 mm².

Steel-tape and wire armoured constructions for direct burial.

Building wires and light installation cables to IEC 60227.

Plant & capacity
The core equipment is 30 to 40 years old; the most significant items are machines for continuous and discontinuous production of heat-shrink tubes, a machine for producing heat-shrink caps, and cable laying machines. The factory produces a range of joints and terminations, jointing and terminating fittings for connecting and using power and telecommunication cables.
