Seven decades of cable making
The cable industry in Jagodina was established in 1947, with regular production beginning in 1955. From a single plant it grew into the largest cable manufacturer in the region.
Today the company operates as a mixed-ownership holding — Holding “Kablovi” a.d. Jagodina — uniting a group of specialized factories under one name, one quality system and one engineering tradition.
FKS is the largest Serbian producer of cables, cable accessories, connectors, cable sets and terminals, and the largest national exporter of cable products, with goods used in more than 80 countries.
1955
First power cables leave the Jagodina plant.
1970s
XLPE insulation technology introduced.
1990s
Reorganised as a specialized member of the holding.
